Accounting Policies

Check Writing Policies

All checks must have the following: Current phone number and address printed on it. Must be made out to the school. No post-dated checks allowed. Student's name & ID number must be written on the check.

Returned Checks

The check writer must pay a $10.00 returned check fee or 3 times the amount of the check, whichever is more. Checks will not be resubmitted. In addition, if a check is returned by the bank to SLz, the student involved and his/her siblings will have check writing privileges at SLz suspended indefinitely.

Cash Only In Spring

SLZ will accept CASH ONLY for any student payments, fees, or fundraisers in the spring each year. This is due to the high volume of unpaid returned checks at the end of the school year.
