Code of Conduct

So that our educational environment at SLZ will maximize the potential for student learning, we require our students (Rebels) to conduct themselves by the following guidelines:

REBELS are present and punctual each day and to each class.
REBELS take full advantage of their educational opportunities and are equipped and ready to work each period.
REBELS conduct themselves in a manner that is not disruptive of the educational process for themselves or others.
REBELS conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others.
REBELS take pride and responsibility for the good appearance of their school and its facilities.
REBELS respect and work cooperatively with the school staff and respond positively and promptly to their directions.
REBELS recognize and respect the rights of each individual to be themselves and treat others with courtesy regardless of whether they "like" them or not.
REBELS seek to resolve disputes with staff or fellow students in a tactful and constructive way.
REBELS make themselves aware of, and seek to abide by, all applicable classroom, school, and district rules.
