San Lorenzo High School

Special Nights

Report Card Night
Report Card Nights are held at the end of the first and third grading periods. Parents are invited to obtain their child's report card in person. All the teachers and counselors are available for 3-5 minute conferences and to set future appointments. The major purpose of this event is to establish dialogue between parents and teachers so that home and school can work together to help students achieve academic success.
Back-To-School Night
Back to School Night is our traditional "Open House" activity at the start of the year. Parents meet their child's teachers and see their classrooms. This event allows parents to find out each teacher's expectations and to ease parent-teacher communication.
Senior Scholarship & Recognition Night
Senior Scholarship Night is a traditional awards ceremony, held late in May each year. Parents are invited to come to the school and honor the members of the graduating class who have earned scholarships and other special awards during their high school careers. The major purpose of this event is to publicly congratulate students on their accomplishments.
Student Recognition Night
Student Recognition Night is a traditional awards ceremony, also held in late May each year. Students in grades 9 - 11 are honored for Academic Excellence and Rebel Pride (attitude/leadership/helpfulness) in each department's courses at each grade level.
