Summer School

Summer school is usually held at either San Lorenzo or Arroyo High School (alternating years) and will include students from San Lorenzo High, Arroyo High and Royal Sunset. Summer school generally starts in the week after regular school is released and continues for about six weeks. Students that are deficient in credits or have received an F during the regular year are encouraged to pick up summer applications in the counseling office. Students can take up to 2 classes, earning 5 credits for each class. The start time of classes will vary depending on the student's schedule. Schedules and classes are made by the district office and students will be notified by early June of their schedule for the summer. Attendance is mandatory. Students will be dropped from summer school upon missing the 2nd day of instruction OR if not present the first day of instruction.
